How to Be a Successful Entrepreneur
How can you be a successful entrepreneur? I know several entrepreneurs who are so successful they have become multi-millionaires. They all began their businesses on a shoestring.
There are three things that these successful entrepreneurs have in common. This is the millionaire route:
- They researched and chose their niche market before creating product.
- They know everything about the people they sell to. They know who these people are and where they can be reached.
- They know exactly what these people want. They know exactly what types of products and services they buy. They know what their hidden motivators are, and how to press their hot buttons. They know what to say and how to say it.
Let’s take a closer look at each of these successful entrepreneur points. The biggest mistake that many new entrepreneurs make is to spend a long time creating or buying in products before they know who they’re selling to.
So, always, select your niche market place first. Then create the products tailored to their desires.
That leads us into the second set of successful entrepreneur points. So long as you have done your market research on your niche market, you will know who they are and how you can contact them. For example let’s suppose your niche market is the ‘over 50’s’ and one of your mini products is selling holidays to this age group. How are you going to tell them all about the holiday offers? Are you going to start up an online newsletter with the latest offers? Do enough people over the age of 50 like using the Internet to book holidays? Or do they prefer brochures or a magazine? These are the types of questions you need to answer.
So, then you have the final successful entrepreneur points and many of the previous questions provide the knowledge you need regarding their hidden motivators. Once you know the hidden motivators you can press their hot buttons.
Now for a quick look at the things you shouldn’t do if you want to be a successful entrepreneur, because these are the common denominators of people who have gone broke…
- They are looking for a quick short-cut method to get rich without any effort (it doesn’t exist).
- They rush into every project without first taking the time to listen and learn how to do it properly.
- They often dip into product after product without understanding any of the markets or the people they are selling to.
Make certain you take the millionaire route and learn how to become a successful entrepreneur.
